The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) has officially suspended a police officer holding the rank of brigadier, stationed at the Marrakech police prefecture, following allegations of his involvement in a criminal case. This suspension, announced on Monday, August 31, is part of an ongoing judicial investigation overseen by the competent prosecutor's office.
The investigation was initiated by the Marrakech police after a legal guardian filed a complaint against the officer, accusing him of having "abused the trust of his son" and exposing the minor, who is just sixteen years old, to a sexual assault. The officer in question has been subjected to judicial procedures under the authority of the prosecutor's office and was presented before the judiciary on Sunday, August 30, while in custody.
