Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, the primary air hub of the Kingdom, exemplifies this transformation. Average arrival formalities have been completed in just 5.4 minutes, a significant reduction from nearly 12 minutes a year prior, marking a 54% improvement. For departures, the average processing time has plummeted from approximately 7.5 minutes to only 2.25 minutes, representing an outstanding enhancement of 70%. Similarly, at Marrakech Menara, which serves as the second-largest airport in the country and a key tourist entry point, the average time for arrivals is recorded at 6.86 minutes, while departures take about 5.09 minutes—showing respective improvements of 16% and 22.5%. These results underscore the airport’s ability to manage increasing passenger volumes while maintaining high service levels.
The observed advancements are consistent across the national network. In Tangier, arrival times have been cut by more than half, now averaging 11.93 minutes. Meanwhile, Fès boasts a departure time of just 1.53 minutes, one of the best performances in the network. Agadir continues to maintain an average arrival time below ten minutes, despite a busy schedule.
