Empowering Small Businesses through Innovation and Collaboration
The International Forum for Very Small, Small, and Medium Enterprises (FITPE) is gearing up for its seventh edition, with two significant meetings set to take place on October 22 in Casablanca and November 26 in Tangier. This event aims to assist very small, small, and medium enterprises (TPMEs) in navigating the evolving landscape of fiscal, technological, and financial challenges. Organized by Attitudes Conseil, this edition is in partnership with the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services for the first event, followed by collaboration with the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma Chamber and the Regional Investment Center (CRI) for the second stage.
Under the theme "TPME 2030: Taxation, Digital & Financing in Service of Competitiveness," this forum comes at a time when public support mechanisms for small businesses are being strengthened, particularly through the ORBIT 2030 strategic plan launched by Maroc PME and the PACTE TPME initiative, which was introduced in April 2026. Following a previous successful edition held in Dakhla, the forum continues its territorial expansion with the goal of connecting businesses to the necessary support mechanisms and expertise essential for their development.
Engaging Workshops on Taxation, AI, and Financing
The two phases of the forum will focus on three thematic workshops addressing the primary challenges faced by TPMEs. The first workshop will delve into taxation in the digital age and the changes related to electronic invoicing. Led by the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI), this session aims to enlighten entrepreneurs about their tax obligations and the ongoing transformations in this area.
A second workshop will explore the practical applications of artificial intelligence and cloud solutions in business management, highlighting the potential of these technologies to enhance productivity and performance for smaller enterprises. The third segment will tackle funding and activity security, featuring participation from Tamwilcom and the Foundation for Business Creation (FCE) of the Popular Bank Group.
The program will also include presentations on the PACTE TPME initiatives, inter-business meetings (B2B), and speed networking sessions designed to facilitate professional exchanges and partnership opportunities.
Through this new edition, the organizers aim to strengthen interactions between entrepreneurs, public institutions, financial organizations, and economic partners. "TPMEs are not lacking in talent or ambition. They require clear, accessible information and concrete support to seize the opportunities available to them," emphasized Amal Cherif Haouat, the forum's president, in a statement.
According to her, the ambition is to make support mechanisms and expertise more accessible to entrepreneurs while considering the specific needs of different regions. Established in May 2013 in Casablanca, the FITPE has gradually developed a model of itinerant meetings. Its first six editions, held in various cities across the Kingdom up to Dakhla, have successfully raised awareness and supported over 4,000 TPEs, self-employed individuals, and project leaders.
Over the years, the event has mobilized numerous institutional and economic partners, including ministries, the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), CRIs, CCIS, Maroc PME, Tamwilcom, and several banking institutions. International organizations, such as APEFE – Wallonia-Brussels in Morocco and the International Labour Office (ILO) in Morocco, have also participated in previous meetings. With its upcoming stages in Casablanca and Tangier, the forum aims to solidify its role as a platform for information, exchange, and connection, facilitating access for Moroccan small businesses to solutions that can enhance their competitiveness and support their growth.
