New Candidacy Announcement for Regional Coordinator in Fes-Meknes
The National Rally of Independents (RNI) has officially opened the application process for the position of regional coordinator in the Fes-Meknes region, a role previously held by Mohamed Chouki before his election as party president in February 2026. This significant announcement was made by the party's president, Mohamed Chouki, emphasizing the necessity to adhere to the party's statutory regulations. According to the internal guidelines outlined in articles 17 and 18, the party is now inviting interested candidates to submit their applications.
Prospective candidates are encouraged to present their applications along with a proposed efficiency contract to the party's central administration in Rabat. The application window is set from October 28, 2026, to November 7, 2026, closing at 4 PM. This initiative comes as part of the party's ongoing efforts to reorganize its structural framework within the Fes-Meknes region, following Mohamed Chouki's transition from regional coordination to the presidency, a position he assumed following Aziz Akhannouch.
In the interim, Younes Rafiq, the regional coordinator for the southern sector of Fes, has been temporarily overseeing the regional coordination responsibilities while the party finalizes the identity of the new coordinator.
