Enakl: Revolutionizing Collective Mobility in Morocco's Casablanca Region

Established in 2022 by Samir Bennani and Charles Pommarède, Enakl is at the forefront of intelligent collective mobility solutions in Morocco. The company's core mission revolves around the belief that mobility is a critical factor in accessing employment, training, and economic opportunities. A lack of reliable transportation can severely restrict access to these vital resources, particularly affecting young people, women, and residents of peripheral or underserved areas.

As part of the E-Connect program, Enakl has launched an inclusive mobility initiative in collaboration with the Casablanca-Settat Region, the Cité des Métiers et des Compétences (CMC) of Casablanca-Settat, the Île-de-France Region, and the French Development Agency (AFD). This initiative has successfully benefited 160 individuals, with 52% being women, facilitating over 482 collective trips that significantly improved access to vocational training.

The initiative has made a remarkable impact, reducing travel times for some users from as long as two hours to approximately 40 minutes, thanks to direct and regular collective routes. The reported satisfaction rate from participants exceeded an impressive 98%. Furthermore, the dropout rate among participants decreased from 12% to just 3%, a reduction that, according to the official statement, cannot solely be attributed to improved transportation.

Innovative Technology and Sustainable Solutions

Enakl operates with a network of professional transport partners who utilize its cutting-edge technology. The integrated platform encompasses digital booking, route design, transport coordination, operational monitoring, and data analysis. By implementing virtual stops located within 500 meters of users' residences, Enakl ensures service delivery without the need for permanent physical infrastructure.

This innovative approach not only facilitates the testing of new routes but also allows for potential evaluations that inform the development of public transport networks. Enakl is dedicated to supporting individual commuting needs, employee transportation, and mobility programs backed by institutional stakeholders. The company has achieved remarkable milestones, boasting over 600,000 reservations, more than 260 lines, over 15,000 travelers, and more than 200 daily trips. Notably, Enakl has earned a place in the Top 50 African Mobility Companies report for 2026.
