Morocco Accelerator Launches Third Batch to Propel Startups into the International Arena

Empowering Moroccan Startups for Global Growth

On October 22, 2026, the Morocco Accelerator program, funded by the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transition, and Administrative Reform, proudly announced the launch of its third cohort, which comprises twenty emerging startups. This initiative is aimed at supporting the growth of these innovative enterprises at a national level while bolstering their ambition to establish a presence in international markets. The announcement underscores Morocco's commitment to fostering a thriving digital economy, as part of the national strategy 'Morocco Digital 2030.'

The Ministry's official statement highlights that the twenty startups have joined this specialized program designed to accelerate business growth, implemented by Technopark Morocco in partnership with Plug and Play. The program aims to structure their development pathway, enhance their market access, and connect them with both national and international innovation and investment networks. The new cohort continues to fulfill the program's ambition of accompanying Moroccan startups during their critical growth phases, ensuring favorable conditions for their operational development both domestically and abroad.

Selection for this third cohort was based on 262 applications received, from which 91 interviews were conducted, leading to an initial shortlist of 25 startups before the final selection of 20 was made. The selected startups include notable names such as Aithenor, Arkypel, Arqam360, Colis.ma, Imperius AI, Jafar AI, Jobzyn, Kiwi, Legal IQ, Match Excellence, Mycel, Nyance, Palete, Projected, PULSO, remitX, TIMLEAD, TRAVELIFE, YBA.ai, and ZARI.

These startups are active across nine technological fields, encompassing solutions targeted at businesses, artificial intelligence, financial technology, human resources technologies, cybersecurity, digital tourism, insurance technology, legal technology, retail technology, and real estate technology. Notably, the business solutions and AI solutions category holds a pivotal position in this cohort, comprising nine startups, which represents 45% of the total selected companies. The fintech category includes three startups, while two are in human resources technologies.

This diverse sectoral representation reflects the entrepreneurs' ability to invest across various aspects of digital transformation, developing solutions that cater to both businesses and individuals. It also opens avenues for collaboration with economic actors seeking innovative solutions to address the challenges associated with their professional activities. Among the selected startups, five are led by founders of Moroccan origin from abroad, illustrating the program’s goal of connecting Moroccan talents both within the kingdom and abroad around technological project development.

The program aims to encourage the exchange of expertise, facilitate access to new networks, and create opportunities for international business development. The selected startups will benefit from intensive support that combines mentoring and guidance, connection to investors and partner companies, and access to the global network of Plug and Play. This support is designed to help these startups enhance their growth trajectory, prioritize their business strategies with greater precision, and better prepare for engagement with potential partners and investors.

Through this third batch, the Morocco Accelerator continues its commitment to supporting technological entrepreneurship in Morocco and contributing to the realization of the strategic ambitions outlined in 'Morocco Digital 2030' by bringing startups closer to the expertise, markets, and networks essential for their growth. The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transition, and Administrative Reform is actively working to accelerate the kingdom's digital transformation, positioning digitalization as a lever for economic development, innovation, and job creation. As part of the national strategy 'Morocco Digital 2030,' the ministry has set ambitious goals for 2030, aiming to develop, energize, and strengthen the national system of internationally-oriented startups, particularly through the support and financing of 3,000 startups and the emergence of one to two Moroccan unicorns (startups valued over one billion dollars), alongside mobilizing funds amounting to 7 billion dirhams.

Technopark Morocco is recognized as a national reference point in supporting technological startups and enhancing innovation in Morocco. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transition, and Administrative Reform, it plays a crucial role in structuring the national entrepreneurship ecosystem by supporting more than 500 startups and innovative companies operating in advanced technology sectors. Meanwhile, Plug and Play, established in Silicon Valley, USA, is one of the largest innovation platforms globally, with a presence in over 70 cities. The platform has supported and invested in over 100,000 startups, including leading unicorns such as PayPal, Dropbox, and Honey. In Morocco, Plug and Play has previously backed more than 120 startups, helping raise over 80 million dollars in funding and contributing to the creation of more than 900 qualified jobs.
