Potential Transfer of Ismael Saibari to Bayern Munich
According to recent media reports, Bayern Munich appears to have reached an agreement with Moroccan national player Ismael Saibari regarding the personal terms of his potential transfer. However, discussions between the German club and Saibari's current team, PSV Eindhoven, are still ongoing, particularly concerning the transfer fee for the talented attacking player. Saibari played a crucial role in helping PSV secure their third consecutive league title and was honored as the Eredivisie Player of the Year. He also celebrated victory with Morocco in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2025. Currently, his contract with PSV is set to run until mid-2029.
As stated by the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, "Saibari has fundamentally agreed with Bayern, and the record champions are eager to finalize the transfer of the PSV midfielder quickly." Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed similar details on social media platform X. Reports from the Netherlands suggest that the conditions set by the German club do not pose any issues for Saibari, as he is keen on making the move to Bayern, a club capable of meeting his salary expectations. The primary concern for the attacking player now is for both clubs to reach a mutual agreement.
Saibari, who is set to represent Morocco at the upcoming World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, made his transition from the U21 team of KRC Genk to PSV's second team in the summer of 2020. After two years, he was promoted to the first team in the summer of 2022. To date, Saibari has made 29 appearances for Morocco, scoring nine goals. Furthermore, reports indicate that Bayern Munich may also be interested in Saibari's teammate, Sergiño Dest, as a potential right-back option, although no negotiations have taken place regarding Dest as of yet.
