easyJet Expands Flight Routes Connecting France and Morocco in 2026

easyJet Launches New Direct Flights from France to Morocco

easyJet, the renowned low-cost airline, has recently announced the launch of two new direct flight routes connecting France and Morocco, set to commence in October 2026. This strategic move is part of the airline's ongoing expansion efforts and its commitment to reinforcing its presence in both the Moroccan and European markets. The new routes will link Bordeaux with Agadir and Nantes with Essaouira, offering two flights per week for each route. This development underscores the increasing interest in Moroccan tourist destinations among European travelers and the Moroccan diaspora.

The airline has emphasized that this initiative is part of a broader restructuring plan aimed at enhancing its flight network. This plan includes the addition of six new routes, focusing on direct connections between French cities and Moroccan destinations that are increasingly appealing to tourists, particularly as travel demand patterns evolve. In line with this strategy, easyJet has also decided to convert its seasonal routes from Lille to Marrakech and Strasbourg to Marrakech into year-round services, following successful trial periods. This decision is buoyed by the rising allure of Marrakech as a year-round tourist and investment destination.

This expansion comes on the heels of easyJet's efforts to bolster its presence in Morocco, highlighted by the opening of a new base in Marrakech this past April. With this new addition, the total number of routes operated by easyJet to Morocco has now reached 58, including 30 specifically to Marrakech. This growth signifies Morocco's increasing importance on the air transport map between Europe and North Africa.
