Fairmont Hotels Introduces Unique Global Experiences for Guests

Fairmont's New Experiences Designed to Enrich Guest Stays

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has recently launched an innovative array of guest experiences under its banner program dubbed _Special Happens…_. This initiative is meticulously crafted to enhance the travel experience for guests by immersing them in the local culture, nature, culinary delights, and unique after-dark activities across its global portfolio. The program features six fresh experiences categorized into four main themes: After Dark, In the Wild, Around the Table, and In the Spotlight. This novel approach focuses on connecting guests with the cultural and environmental fabric of the destinations where Fairmont properties are located.

Diverse Offerings for Every Traveler

Among the exciting new experiences available, guests can embark on a breathtaking helicopter tour over the Great Wall of China, offered at Fairmont Beijing, or enjoy a guided foraging and helicopter excursion at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Canada, which highlights the region's natural beauty. A wildlife experience awaits at Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club, providing a unique opportunity to connect with local wildlife. For those seeking evening adventures, the program includes a night tour of Wuhan’s historic Yellow Crane Tower, where participants can don traditional Hanfu attire, and a stargazing event at Fairmont St Andrews in Scotland. Notably, Fairmont Tazi Palace in Tangier will host an exclusive event timed with a solar eclipse on August 12, creating a memorable experience for attendees.

Cultural and culinary experiences are also a significant aspect of this initiative. Guests at Fairmont Le Montreux Palace can access the former residence of Montreux Jazz Festival founder Claude Nobs, while Fairmont Jaipur invites travelers to partake in a village-based cultural program in Rajasthan. Additionally, Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech offers a hot air balloon ride combined with a heritage tour, providing guests with a comprehensive view of the local landscape and history. Culinary experiences include a picturesque Korean-themed proposal setting at Fairmont Ambassador Seoul, a traditional Hawaiian feast at Fairmont Kea Lani, and a cacao-focused program at Fairmont Orchid.

Some beloved existing experiences remain intact, such as spa sessions at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa and wellness treatments offered at Fairmont Mumbai. Claudia Kozma Kaplan, the chief brand officer of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, emphasizes that delivering remarkable experiences is embedded in the brand's DNA. With the introduction of these new offerings, Fairmont not only upholds its legacy but also aims to create authentic moments for guests, allowing them to forge deeper connections and celebrate life’s special occasions during their stays.
