A Landmark Event in Hospitality Innovation
The 6th edition of the Hospitality Innovation Summit Morocco, organized by GBB, concluded successfully on June 10 and 11, 2026, at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel in Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr. Under the theme "Hosting the Future," the summit attracted an impressive turnout of over 150 delegates, 78 suppliers, 23 speakers, and 25 media and supporting partners. This vibrant event generated a remarkable 1,115 minutes of networking opportunities and facilitated more than 1,574 successful business meetings, illustrating the growing momentum within Morocco's hospitality sector.
Transforming Ideas into Action
Continuing from the GBB Investment Summit, this edition shifted the narrative from mere investment discussions to actionable project execution. It aimed to connect hotel project leaders with the expertise, solutions, and partners necessary to bring their visions to life. Key topics included design, procurement, operations, sustainability, wellness, and smart building technologies. As Morocco sets its sights on welcoming 26 million visitors by 2030, the country is actively enhancing its hospitality capacity, notably through the Cap Hospitality program, which is backed by an investment of 4 billion MAD. Ravi Kumar Chandran, the Founder and Managing Director of GBB, emphasized that this initiative transcends the development of hotel infrastructure; it represents a structured national transformation that redefines discussions around design, procurement, and operational strategies in the country.
The summit was supported by significant partners, including SMIT as the Institutional Partner, the National Council of the Order of Architects of Morocco as the Supporting Partner, and Four Seasons Hotel Rabat as the Hospitality Partner, along with leading industry players such as Honeywell, Daikin Middle East & Africa, Afaq Holding, Technogym, Castalie, and Artevo. A notable highlight of the event was the HIS ICON 2026 award presented to Abdellatif Kabbaj, the President, CEO, and Founder of Kenzi Hotels Group, in recognition of his long-standing contributions to the industry. With a record of over 1,574 successful business meetings, this summit has confirmed that the Moroccan hospitality transformation is already creating tangible business opportunities. As we approach 2030, GBB is committed to continuing its role as a unifying platform for execution, quality, and the future of hospitality in the Kingdom.
