The judicial police department in Marrakech has initiated an investigative process that has led to the detention of a nurse employed at Ibn Zohr Hospital, commonly referred to as ‘Al Mamounia’. This action was taken due to suspicions regarding the nurse's involvement in illegal trafficking of prohibited pharmaceutical drugs and materials.
This operation was the result of meticulous field investigations, bolstered by confessions and information provided by previously arrested individuals connected to the same case. Such intelligence enabled the security services to accurately identify and apprehend the suspect. Currently, the ongoing investigation, supervised by the relevant public prosecutor's office, aims to uncover the origins of these drugs and the pathways through which they are being distributed. Additionally, authorities are working to determine whether a larger network is orchestrating these illicit activities.
