Marrakech-Safi Region's Commitment to Human Development
On Friday, the Governor of the Marrakech-Safi region presided over a meeting of the regional committee for human development at the headquarters of the region's administration. The discussions were primarily focused on monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the initiative's programs for the current year, emphasizing the importance of adhering to ministerial directives to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the planned projects. This meeting represents a strategic approach towards enhancing the region's human capital and addressing the needs of vulnerable populations.
The meeting featured a comprehensive presentation of the annual work plan for the Marrakech province, which prioritizes human capital by targeting vulnerable groups and improving living conditions in areas of high priority. The discussions culminated in the approval of several developmental projects that align with the national strategic vision, showcasing a commitment to sustainable progress.
Furthermore, the meeting included the signing of vital partnership agreements aimed at supporting emerging generations and enhancing health services. These agreements also include programs dedicated to the economic integration of youth and assistance for individuals in difficult situations, thereby strengthening social and economic empowerment mechanisms at the local level.
To conclude the meeting, the Governor distributed keys for 13 equipped vehicles to associations and social institutions in the municipalities of (Oulad Dlim, Menabha, Harbil, L'Ouadia, Sidi Zouin, and Akfay). This practical step aims to bolster school transport and facilitate access for targeted groups to essential services, reinforcing the initiative's achievements in promoting spatial justice.
