Accurate scientific data from the United States Geological Survey indicates that the seismic event occurred at approximately 11:24 PM in the Mediterranean Sea, approximately 66 kilometers south of the Spanish city of Fuengirola. The earthquake's magnitude is more accurately recorded at 4.5, with a depth of 75.7 kilometers.
