This decision comes after the education administration opened the door for dialogue with representatives of the coordination group. The protest was intended to draw attention to the unresolved administrative issues that the teachers have been facing.
During the meeting, the protesting teachers listened attentively to the outcomes of the discussions held between their representatives and the officials from the education academy. These officials were formally invited to the negotiation table to address the concerns raised. The meeting resulted in the administration promising to consider the demands put forth, chief among which is the payment of outstanding financial compensations that have been owed to teachers by the academy and the regional directorate for several years.
