The electronic platform Nichan Alaan has reported a significant police operation in Marrakech, where local law enforcement apprehended an individual suspected of trafficking substances used for narcotic purposes in the Dawdiyat neighborhood. The operation took place on the evening of Thursday, June 11, and was executed by the seventh police district.
According to informed sources, the search conducted by the police resulted in the seizure of approximately 20 boxes of a substance known as "silicone glue," which was intended for sale and inhalation as a narcotic, particularly among certain delinquent youths and minors. In addition, authorities also confiscated a slab of hashish from the suspect, who was reportedly in an advanced state of intoxication at the time of arrest.
The apprehended individual was taken to the police station, where he is currently under investigation, supervised by the competent public prosecutor's office. This investigation aims to uncover all circumstances surrounding the case and identify any potential extensions of this illegal activity.
