Strategic Partnership to Enhance Morocco's Digital Transformation
In a significant move towards digital modernization, the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Moroccan Cinematographic Center. This event took place during the GITEX Africa Morocco 2026, where stakeholders gathered to emphasize the importance of digital transformation in the public sector.
The agreement was executed by Aml Felah Sagrouchni, the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, and Mohamed Reda Benjelloun, Director of the Moroccan Cinematographic Center. This collaboration aligns with the national strategy "Digital Morocco 2030" and responds to the royal directives aimed at modernizing public administration, enhancing the quality of services delivered to citizens, and improving public performance efficiency.
The primary objective of this agreement is to support the Moroccan Cinematographic Center in its digital transformation journey. This will involve the development and implementation of a comprehensive roadmap that focuses on updating information systems, digitizing procedures, and enhancing user experience. Additionally, this partnership seeks to boost the attractiveness of the national cinema sector and to attract foreign investments in this critical area.
Through this strategic alliance, the Moroccan government is taking decisive steps towards integrating technology into its operations, thereby ensuring a more streamlined and efficient public service for its citizens.
