Severe Thunderstorm Forecast for Multiple Provinces
The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has issued a warning regarding the expected thunderstorms that may occur on Monday, March 23, 2026. These storms are anticipated to be locally severe, producing rainfall amounts between 20 to 35 millimeters, particularly in the provinces of Chtouka Aït Baha, Chichaoua, Khémisset, El Hajeb, and Taroudant. The stormy weather is expected to persist from noon until 11 PM, raising concerns about potential hail in these regions.
In addition to the aforementioned areas, the provinces of Khouribga, Ifrane, Khénifra, Figuig, Boulemane, Settat, and Sefrou will also experience similar weather conditions during the same timeframe. Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions due to the adverse weather that may impact daily activities and safety.
