Eurotyre's Vision for Recruitment and Digitalization in 2027
During its national convention held from September 18 to 21, 2026, in Marrakech, Morocco, Eurotyre showcased its commitment to two critical priorities: enhancing recruitment efforts across its centers and advancing digital tools for transport operators. The event attracted nearly 250 participants who gathered to discuss market developments, review network results, and connect with partner suppliers. This gathering reflects Eurotyre's proactive approach as it looks ahead to 2027, emphasizing the importance of both human resources and technology in the tire industry.
Aligned with the Continental group, Eurotyre currently boasts 234 independent sales points, each employing an average of five people. To assist its members in overcoming the challenge of recruiting qualified technicians amid a changing automotive repair landscape, Eurotyre is rolling out dedicated software and bolstering its training support. Vincent Mioche, the operational manager of the network, noted, "In light of the shortage of skilled technicians and the evolving nature of automotive repair jobs, our priority is to support our members with tools and services specifically designed for recruitment and training, thereby sustainably supporting their operations and growth."
Digital Advancements for Fleet Management
Another pivotal focus for Eurotyre as it approaches 2027 is the digital transformation of its industrial activities. The network plays a significant role in marketing **French iTires**, a connected tire solution from Continental associated with ContiConnect. This innovative system enables fleet managers to monitor tire pressure, which is crucial for reducing fuel consumption and enhancing driver safety. Furthermore, Eurotyre utilizes **FleetFox** for tire management within fleets. Thanks to recent updates, transport operators can now monitor the status of their vehicle fleet in real-time and request interventions directly, streamlining operational efficiency.
In terms of tire advancements, the Austrian brand Semperit, also part of the Continental group, reported a 5% growth within the Eurotyre network. However, data from the Professional Tire Syndicate indicated a 6.7% decline in the quality segment during the first half of 2026. Eurotyre holds exclusive distribution rights in France for the Semperit range, which caters to passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and SUVs. Celebrating its 120th anniversary, Semperit has launched the **Speed-Life 5**, a summer tire compatible with hybrid and electric vehicles. This model will be available in 58 sizes ranging from 16 to 21 inches, including 30 new dimensions, with 26 specifically targeting the ultra-high-performance (UHP) segment in 18 inches and above.
