Marrakech to Host First African Edition of Gather, Fostering International Investments and Innovation

Marrakech, Morocco, is set to host the inaugural African edition of the Gather event from October 22 to 24, 2026. This significant gathering, organized by North Summit in collaboration with Gather Being, aims to bring together a diverse array of investors, entrepreneurs, and international leaders to discuss and explore themes such as investment, innovation, artificial intelligence, tourism, well-being, and Moroccan heritage. Through strategic exchanges and networking opportunities, Gather Marrakech aspires to enhance connections between Morocco and global markets, fostering a vibrant ecosystem for growth and collaboration.

This non-profit initiative will also focus on supporting education and youth inclusion, specifically through funding directed towards the Addictest organization, alongside the participation of Street Soccer USA as an impactful partner. As the event unfolds in this iconic city, it will serve as a platform for delegates to share insights on investment, education, real estate, technology, and the significance of Moroccan culture and heritage.

The organizers emphasize that "some of the most remarkable opportunities do not emerge in boardrooms but around shared tables, unexpected conversations, and remarkable places." The program is meticulously designed to cover critical areas such as real estate and tourism, technology, and well-being, thereby bridging international perspectives with Moroccan leadership. This initiative highlights Morocco's growing strategic position at the crossroads of Africa, Europe, and global markets.

Prominent speakers confirmed for the event include Bernhard Bohnenberger, co-founder and CEO of Discover Collection and former president of Six Senses; Mike Crichton, international president of GSK; and Venanzio Ciampa, president of Street Soccer USA. Additionally, leaders from various sectors including hospitality, real estate, and health, like Sean and Fatine Wilson from OPTI Health, will join Moroccan entrepreneurs such as Iness El Amine from Ya Zine. This collaborative effort underscores a commitment to education and corporate social responsibility, with a portion of the funds raised being allocated to Addictest.

Founded in 2015, Addictest is a school and training center located in major Moroccan cities, dedicated to assisting Moroccan students in preparing for university admissions and scholarships. The organization's efforts have successfully enabled over a thousand young individuals to gain entry into prestigious international universities, including Harvard, NYU Abu Dhabi, Bocconi, Northwestern Qatar, MIT, Stanford, and many others. Moreover, Street Soccer USA's participation in the event will highlight the role of sports in youth inclusion and development. Through these initiatives, Gather Marrakech aims to combine international networking with tangible support for educational projects within the Kingdom.

It is noteworthy that North Summit brings together international leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and creators to foster strategic partnerships and sustainable collaborations. Gather Marrakech 2026 marks its first edition on the African continent, organized in cooperation with Gather Being.
