The Acome Group, renowned for its high-tech cables utilized in the automotive and telecommunications sectors, is setting its sights on establishing a joint venture with the Chinese cable manufacturer, Xinhongye. This collaboration aims to create a new manufacturing facility in Morocco, reflecting Acome's commitment to expanding its operations and tapping into new markets.
Founded in Wuxi in 2004, Xinhongye has quickly risen to prominence and has been publicly traded on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 2023. The company specializes in producing specialized cables, particularly those designed for electric vehicles, charging stations, photovoltaic installations, and various industrial applications. The announcement of this potential joint venture was first reported in the Chinese press on September 4.
Strategic Collaboration and Future Prospects
According to Acome, which is headquartered in Romagny-Fontenay and currently operates two factories in China and one in Morocco, discussions with Xinhongye have been ongoing. This strategic partnership not only promises to enhance Acome's manufacturing capabilities but also positions both companies to better serve the growing demand for advanced cable solutions in the automotive and renewable energy sectors.
