Administrative Court in Marrakech Dismisses Four Local Council Members

The administrative court in Marrakech has issued rulings that result in the dismissal of four members from the local council of Tassoultant, which falls under the jurisdiction of Marrakech province. Among those dismissed is the former president of the council. The court has mandated that all legal consequences stemming from these decisions be enforced immediately.

The dismissed members include Zineb Chala, Hassan Lghchime, Mustafa Ait Blam, and Labna Mahbullah, following the acceptance of the petitions filed against them regarding their membership in the municipal council. Furthermore, the court ruled in the case concerning Mustafa Ait Blam that a request for voluntary intervention in the lawsuit was not accepted prior to the final judgment that led to his expulsion from the council.

Conversely, the judicial body rejected requests aimed at dismissing councilors Youssef Al-Maskini, Naima Al-Sahli, and Mohamed Al-Mansoum, allowing them to continue their roles within the Tassoultant municipality. These rulings are part of cases linked to the management of local affairs and the extent of adherence to the laws governing local communities. As developments continue to unfold, it is anticipated that upcoming stages will reveal new insights related to these cases.
