The African Development Bank has approved a substantial loan of €205 million (approximately $234 million) to Morocco, aimed at financing the expansion of the high-speed train network. This funding is particularly directed towards the construction of a new railway line that will connect Kenitra and Marrakech, alongside the modernization of the railway infrastructure on one of the busiest corridors in the country.
This financial support is part of Morocco's ongoing strategy to develop its rail transport system and enhance connectivity between major cities.
