July alone saw Agadir's hotels log 858,922 overnight stays, reflecting a 7% rise compared to July 2025, with an occupancy rate reaching 75% during that month. Such figures demonstrate a thriving tourism sector, indicative of Agadir's growing appeal to both domestic and international travelers.
Regional and National Tourism Trends
In the broader Souss-Massa region, total overnight stays for the first seven months of the year reached an impressive 5.356 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 10%. This region alone accounted for 21% of the national total, with an overall occupancy rate of 69%. On a national scale, classified tourist accommodations across Morocco reported a total of 25.85 million overnight stays by the end of July, an increase of 8% from the same period the previous year, accompanied by a national occupancy rate of 56%.
