AIDA Cruises Unveils Exciting New Routes for 2027

AIDA Cruises Introduces Diverse Itineraries for 2027

AIDA Cruises has officially announced a range of new cruise routes for the year 2027, featuring numerous ports that the cruise line rarely visits or has not included in its itinerary for a considerable time. The expansion also introduces additional destinations across Europe, thereby enhancing the overall diversity of the cruise schedule. Long-time guests of the Kussmund fleet will find themselves presented with fresh travel options, ensuring that there are exciting new experiences awaiting them on the high seas. For those interested, detailed information regarding the new AIDA routes for 2028 has also been made available.

The cruise titled "Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan & Hong Kong" is set to commence on January 4 from the Thai port of Laem Chabang, located near Bangkok. This itinerary offers a captivating overview of the vibrant East Asian region, encompassing bustling metropolises such as Hong Kong and Singapore, alongside idyllic islands like Boracay and Palawan. Travelers can indulge in sightseeing amidst modern skyscrapers, visit traditional temples, or snorkel along palm-fringed beaches, creating a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

It is important to note that the prices listed are per person based on double occupancy in an interior cabin; hence, costs may vary for different cabin types. Additionally, single travelers or those looking for multiple occupancy should expect different pricing structures. AIDA encourages solo travelers to book early, as single cabins are limited and tend to fill up quickly. The overall journey spans 21 days, with interior cabins starting at approximately 2755 Euros per person, and those looking to fly to the departure port should anticipate additional costs starting from at least 1450 Euros per person.

Exploring New Destinations in Asia and Beyond

Another remarkable offering is the 28-day cruise titled "Australia, Indonesia & Singapore," which sets sail from Singapore on January 25, 2027. This itinerary surprises many, as it marks the return of AIDA to the "Red Continent" after last visiting during the winter of 2019/20 with the smaller vessel "AIDAvita," which was sold in 2023. The larger ship "AIDAstella" will make several stops, including Fremantle near Perth and Geraldton, where travelers can explore the unique Pink Lakes and the stunning Kalbarri National Park, renowned for its breathtaking views of the rugged Australian landscape.

Following additional stops at Broome and Darwin, recognized as the northernmost major city of Australia and often referred to as the "Gateway to Asia," AIDAstella will continue its journey toward Indonesia, visiting the dream islands of Lombok and Bali before concluding the route back in Singapore. The cost for this journey in an interior cabin starts at 3600 Euros per person, with an additional package from AIDA expected to be around 1950 Euros.

For those seeking a longer adventure, the 43-day itinerary titled "World Traveler Asia with Japan's Spring Blossom" is another highlight. This cruise, which is scheduled to occur during Japan's cherry blossom season, offers an exploration of East Asian cities including Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Hiroshima. The cruise begins on February 22, 2027, in Singapore, and is priced from 6755 Euros per person for an interior cabin, escalating to a minimum of 8920 Euros when including the travel package.

AIDA has also expanded its offerings outside of Asia, introducing a new "Grand Winter Break" itinerary that will visit the Azores and Morocco for the first time. Originally introduced during the pandemic to facilitate cruises to distant destinations without the need for air travel, this format has gained popularity and has now been expanded to include additional regions. The "Grand Winter Break Azores & Morocco" cruise begins on February 22, 2027, in Hamburg, with stops at the Azores and Madeira, and concludes with a return to Hamburg, all while avoiding long-haul flights.
