Air Transat Expands Its Network with New Route to Agadir
Canadian airline Air Transat is set to launch a new non-stop service connecting Montreal to the vibrant city of Agadir in Morocco, starting in the summer of 2026. This exciting development comes in response to the increasing demand from travelers and the Moroccan diaspora for direct flights to this beautiful coastal destination known for its stunning beaches and rich culture. The flights will operate every Friday from June 12 to October 23, 2026, utilizing an Airbus A321LR aircraft, which is renowned for its efficiency and passenger comfort.
By introducing this new route, Air Transat not only reinforces its commitment to serving the Moroccan market but also becomes the only airline in North America to offer direct flights to Agadir, complementing its existing services to Marrakech. This strategic move highlights the airline's dedication to enhancing travel options for those looking to explore Morocco’s picturesque landscapes and local culture. Sebastian Ponce, the airline’s revenue director, emphasized that this non-stop flight will provide travelers with a seamless and convenient journey, aligning with Air Transat's mission to make travel enjoyable and inspiring at every stage.
