Direct Connection to Agadir from Montreal
In an exciting development for travelers, Air Transat has officially commenced non-stop flights between Montreal and Agadir, marking a significant milestone as the only airline providing direct service from North America to this picturesque coastal city in Morocco. The inaugural flight, designated as TS492, took off on June 12 and is set to operate weekly on Fridays until October 23, 2026. This new route not only enhances travel options but also positions Agadir as Air Transat's second Moroccan destination from Montreal, alongside the already established service to Marrakech.
Sébastien Ponce, the Chief Revenue Officer at Transat, expressed enthusiasm regarding the launch, highlighting the airline's commitment to expanding its footprint in Morocco and fostering tourism growth. "The launch of this route to Agadir reflects our ambition to strengthen exclusive access to Morocco and expand our presence across the African continent," Ponce stated. This initiative is a response to the increasing demand for travel to Morocco, further solidifying connections between Canadian and Moroccan communities.
The flights will be operated using the modern Airbus A321LR, which features both Economy Class and Club Class cabins, ensuring a comfortable travel experience for all passengers. With this new service, travelers can now enjoy the stunning landscapes, rich culture, and vibrant atmosphere that Agadir has to offer, making it an ideal destination for a summer getaway or a unique cultural exploration.
