Al-Masry's Preparations Begin in Marrakech
The Egyptian football club Al-Masry Port Said has officially arrived in Morocco on Saturday, August 8, 2026, for a pre-season training camp in Marrakech. This intensive training session is scheduled to last until August 16, aiming to equip the team for the upcoming football season. The delegation departed from Cairo, the capital of Egypt, and made their way to Casablanca. After landing at Mohammed V Airport, the team continued their journey overland to Marrakech, a trip that took several hours.
This training camp is designed to enhance the physical and technical skills of the players. It will also provide head coach Emad El-Nahhas and his technical staff with the opportunity to work on team cohesion, making necessary adjustments before the official competitions commence. The Al-Masry delegation comprises 46 individuals, including 28 players along with members of the technical and administrative staff. Key figures such as coach Emad El-Nahhas and sporting director Seif Daoud are part of this group.
New Signings Strengthen Al-Masry Squad
During the current summer transfer window, Al-Masry has bolstered its squad with the acquisition of six new players. Among them is Moroccan striker Abdellah Ez-Zayani, who joins from Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi. Other new signings include Mostafa El-Ash, Yassine El-Mallah, Mohamed Shokry, Mohamed Ahmed Siha, and Algerian player Kheireddine Toual, who was transferred from ES Sétif. The Egyptian club is banking on this training camp in Marrakech to achieve optimal levels of team cohesion and preparation before returning to Egypt to kick off the new season with ambitious goals.
