Algeria Secures Victory Against Senegal in Women's Africa Cup of Nations 2026
In an impressive start to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) 2026, Algeria emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Senegal. While Senegal had slightly more possession and attempted eleven shots, they managed only two on target. In contrast, Algeria demonstrated greater efficiency, with five of their ten attempts hitting the target.
