Fez Police Take Action Against Online Defamation

In a coordinated effort between the local police and the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, an individual was arrested today in Fez, suspected of insulting public officials and defaming them through online platforms. The incident unfolded when traffic police in Fez stopped the suspect while he was driving a vehicle with a young child sitting in the front seat. This led to a traffic violation citation being issued against him.

Following this encounter, the individual took to social media to share a video that contained derogatory and offensive remarks aimed at the police officers involved. This prompted authorities to initiate an investigation to identify the individual and understand the context of these actions. The investigations yielded results, leading to the suspect's arrest. He is currently undergoing judicial scrutiny under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to uncover all circumstances surrounding this case.
