In a significant operation, the National Security forces at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca successfully apprehended a woman suspected of involvement in the creation and dissemination of digital content that violates public decency. This incident occurred on Wednesday, August 12, as a result of coordinated efforts with security services in Marrakech.
The case originated from a judicial inquiry initiated by the relevant public prosecution, following the detection of videos featuring indecent content that were shared on a social media platform. The investigative efforts led by security forces enabled them to identify the suspect, who was subsequently arrested at the airport while preparing to leave the country on a flight.
The detained individual is currently undergoing a judicial investigation under the supervision of the appropriate public prosecutor's office. The inquiry aims to uncover all circumstances and details surrounding the case, as well as to establish if there are any other parties connected to the alleged actions. Investigations will continue until all necessary legal procedures are completed and judicial consequences are arranged based on the findings.
It is noteworthy that the arrested woman, known as "Sakina Janah" and recognized by her online alias "Kalamour," has a history of legal troubles. She was previously convicted in connection with the "Hamza Monbbay" case, where, in February 2020, the Marrakech court sentenced her to two years in prison and imposed a monetary fine for actions related to unauthorized access to automated data processing systems, the dissemination of personal data and images without consent, and broadcasting false information intended to violate privacy and engage in defamation and extortion. According to judicial sources, she was released from the Wadaya prison in Marrakech in October 2021 after serving her sentence.
