Violent Dispute Between Brothers Leads to Arrest
The security forces of the Sharqia Governorate have successfully apprehended two brothers who were involved in a violent altercation that was widely circulated on social media. The incident, which was captured on video, showed the brothers attacking each other with a machete and a farming tool, specifically a "farming axe," in the Ibrahimia Police Department area.
Upon investigation, it was revealed that the altercation occurred on the 18th of the month, stemming from a dispute over inheritance issues. The conflict escalated into a significant physical confrontation wherein both brothers inflicted injuries on one another, resulting in one of them suffering a severe laceration to the head.
Following the establishment of necessary legal procedures, the authorities managed to detain both individuals involved in the brawl, along with the weapons utilized during the incident. During questioning, the brothers admitted to their involvement in the fight, attributing their actions to ongoing family disputes. Legal measures have been initiated, and the relevant authorities have been notified to proceed with the investigation.
