Significant Drug Bust in Marrakech
In a notable operation conducted by the urban police department in the Gueliz district of Marrakech, authorities apprehended a young man in his twenties on the evening of August 10th. The arrest took place in the Mouha Ou Ali neighborhood, following an extensive surveillance operation that raised suspicions about the individual's involvement in drug trafficking activities. According to a police source, the operation led to the seizure of 20 bundles believed to contain cocaine, alongside approximately half a kilogram of hashish.
Furthermore, the investigative efforts surrounding this case resulted in the detention of two additional individuals, who are suspected of having connections to the primary suspect. The three detainees have been transported to the judicial police headquarters, where they are currently being held under direct judicial oversight, as per the directives of the competent public prosecutor.
