Audrey Crespo-Mara and Her Son Attend Marrakech Comedy Festival

In early June, renowned journalist and television personality Audrey Crespo-Mara made an appearance in Marrakech alongside her eldest son, Sékou Mara, to enjoy a night of comedy. The 23-year-old Sékou bears a striking resemblance to his mother, showcasing the familial bond they share. The Marrakech Comedy Festival, a vibrant event held from June 4 to June 6, marked its inaugural edition at the Palais des Congrès, featuring an impressive lineup of comedians. Among the hosts were Karim, the brother of Jamel Debbouze, and the talented Malik Bentalha, who entertained audiences with their comedic flair.

The festival boasted performances from notable artists such as Paul de Saint-Sernin, Jason Brokerss, Nordine Ganso, Sarah Lélé, and Meryem Benoua. On June 6, the festival's Instagram account shared captivating snapshots from the photocall, highlighting several celebrities who attended the event. Among them were the elegant singer Vitaa, television host Camille Combal with his wife Marie Treille Stefani, and Wilfrid, the father of football star Kylian Mbappé, alongside other notable figures including actor Lucien Jean-Baptiste and, of course, Audrey Crespo-Mara herself.

Sékou Mara's Promising Football Career

Audrey Crespo-Mara, a familiar face from TF1’s "Portrait de la semaine" segment on "Sept à Huit," was seen smiling alongside her son, Sékou, who is not only her child but also a professional footballer. The proud mother posed for photographs with Sékou, who wore a black polo shirt that complemented her long dress, along with casual beige pants and sneakers. Their striking resemblance was evident, particularly in their shared smiles and glances. Sékou, a player for AJ Auxerre since September 2025, has made significant strides in his football career, previously on loan from RC Strasbourg Alsace. His contract is set to conclude on June 30, and he has expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support of his teammates and fans on social media.

On May 20, he shared an Instagram post celebrating the season with his teammates, emphasizing their solidarity through challenging times. His achievements in keeping AJ Auxerre in Ligue 1 have filled his mother with pride, as she has openly stated her excitement during his matches, often becoming quite animated while cheering for him. The bond between mother and son shines brightly, reflecting their mutual support and love.
