Position Descriptions and Requirements
The Junior Internal Auditor role entails a variety of responsibilities, including conducting internal audits in line with the established annual plan, preparing audit missions, and compiling the necessary audit documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing verification tasks as per the program approved by the Audit Service Manager, identifying risks and anomalies, and proposing actionable recommendations for improvement. Additionally, the role involves ensuring that recommendations from internal and external audits are implemented and writing audit reports and summaries to contribute to the evolution of audit methods, tools, and standards.
To qualify for this position, applicants should hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Audit, Internal Control, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field. A preliminary experience in internal audit, such as an internship or an entry-level position, is required, with prior experience in the banking sector considered an advantage. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical, writing, and synthesis skills, along with a high level of organization, confidentiality, and autonomy.
On the other hand, the Department Head for Audit & Inspection will be responsible for developing and implementing the annual audit and inspection plan, overseeing audit missions across branches and central entities, and evaluating the effectiveness of internal control systems. This role also involves analyzing risk management and operational procedures, drafting and validating audit reports, and formulating recommendations to enhance operational security and performance. The successful candidate will guide, support, and develop the Audit & Inspection team while ensuring compliance with professional standards and quality requirements.
