Bourse de Casablanca Reports Remarkable Gains

The Casablanca Stock Exchange has concluded the week on a positive note, marking a significant rebound in market activity characterized by a notable resurgence of buyers. The Moroccan All Shares Index (MASI) experienced an impressive increase of 2.13%, closing at 18,447.35 points, which translates to a robust weekly performance of +5.32%. This achievement represents the MASI's most substantial weekly growth since October 2025, highlighting a remarkable turnaround over the past 23 weeks.

The MASI 20 index, which includes the top-performing stocks, mirrored this positive trend, registering a daily gain of +1.17% to finish at 1,370.28 points, culminating in a weekly increase of 4.07%. Market activity remained vibrant on the central exchange, with a trading volume of 558 million dirhams, indicating strong investor engagement and confidence in the market's potential.

Mining stocks particularly stood out, dominating trading volumes. Notably, Managem captured the highest trading volume of the session, with transactions totaling 111 million dirhams, and surged by +10% to reach a new historic high of 11,934.00 dirhams. Since the beginning of the year, this stock has recorded an astonishing performance of +86.47%. Following closely, CMT achieved a trading volume of 60.9 million dirhams and increased by +8.94%, closing at 4,885.00 dirhams. TGCC also made a significant impact, amassing 47 million dirhams at a closing price of 775.00 dirhams. Another notable performer was Akdital, with 34 million dirhams in trades at 1,195.00 dirhams.

In terms of market rankings, Wafa Assurance closely trailed Managem with a remarkable rise of +9.98%, closing at 5,335.00 dirhams. Overall, the total market capitalization now stands at an impressive 1,045 billion dirhams, reflecting an optimistic outlook for investors and stakeholders in the Moroccan financial landscape.
