Brazilian Trade Delegation Set to Explore Opportunities in Morocco

A trade mission comprising six Brazilian companies from diverse sectors is scheduled to visit Morocco from June 10 to 13, aiming to uncover business opportunities and foster partnerships. This initiative is orchestrated by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CCAB) in collaboration with the Moroccan embassy located in Brasilia. The primary objective of this mission is to develop a comprehensive business agenda while enhancing the participants' understanding of the Moroccan market, thus illuminating the various opportunities that exist for Brazilian enterprises.

This delegation is part of larger efforts to reinforce the economic relationship between Morocco and Brazil. The mission seeks to identify commercial prospects, cultivate areas of bilateral cooperation, and establish connections with both public and private sector stakeholders. Specific attention will be given to sectors such as agribusiness, cosmetics, electrical goods, and footwear, which are seen as vital areas for growth and collaboration.

The agenda kicks off with an initial meeting in Rabat, where institutional and sectoral discussions will take place. Following this, participants will engage in a seminar and networking sessions in Casablanca alongside Moroccan business representatives. These technical visits to local companies, coupled with business meetings, will offer the delegation valuable insights into potential partnerships and a deeper understanding of the business landscape in Morocco's economic capital.

The journey will then take the delegation to Tangier, where B2B meetings are scheduled, alongside a visit to the Tanger Med port complex. This facility serves as a crucial logistics hub, connecting maritime routes between Europe, Africa, and the Americas, thereby enhancing trade efficiency.

In 2025, trade between Morocco and Brazil reached an impressive total of $2.78 billion. Brazilian exports to Morocco amounted to $1.35 billion, while imports from Morocco were valued at $1.42 billion. The main commodities exported by Brazil included sugar, corn, and livestock, whereas Morocco primarily exported phosphate and compound fertilizers to Brazil.
