CAF Extends Deadline for Moroccan Football Federation
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has granted the Royal Moroccan Football Federation an extension until July 25th to finalize the selection of representatives for Moroccan football in the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup. This decision comes as a result of delays in concluding the professional league, prompting the Moroccan Football Federation to request more time from CAF.
Currently, the top teams in the Moroccan professional league are the Royal Army team and FUS Rabat, both tied at 49 points, just two points ahead of RS Berkane and three points ahead of Raja Casablanca. This competitive landscape adds urgency to the Federation's need to finalize its representatives as the league approaches its conclusion.
Fans can look forward to an exciting round of matches scheduled for tomorrow, including a crucial game between FUS Rabat and RS Berkane. The Royal Army will host Marrakech's Kawkab at the Olympic Stadium, while Raja Casablanca will welcome Meknes' club.
