CAM Unveils Pro-Hamas Demonstration in Casablanca
The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) recently brought to light a troubling rally held in Casablanca's Sraghna Square, where participants openly celebrated terrorism and expressed unequivocal support for Hamas. The protest featured images of Yahya Sinwar, a former Hamas leader and orchestrator of the October 7th massacre, who was killed by Israeli forces in Gaza in 2024. He was posthumously honored as a 'martyr of the Ummah' by the demonstrators, highlighting the rally's extremist sentiments.
During the event, attendees fervently called for 'resistance,' a term often used as a euphemism for inciting terrorist acts, while displaying banners that demanded an end to Morocco's diplomatic ties with Israel. This rally was captured and disseminated by the 'Youth Against Normalization' group on social media, which responded to CAM's coverage with a dismissive remark, suggesting that their content aims to provoke and unsettle.
