The Casablanca Stock Exchange concluded its trading session on July 29, 2026, with a notable decline. The MASI index experienced a drop of 0.34%, settling at 17,739.77 points amidst a trading volume of 165.27 million MAD. Concurrently, the MASI ESG index fell by 0.32% to 1,268.86 points, while the MASI 20 index decreased by 0.30% to 1,307.76 points.

Since the beginning of the year, the MASI index has recorded a decrease of 5.87%, with the MASI 20 suffering a more significant decline of 11.97%. In contrast, the MASI ESG index has shown a modest increase of 1.38%. The total market capitalization stood at 1,024.99 billion MAD, reflecting the overall performance of the market.

The trading volume for the day reached 165.27 million MAD, with the central market accounting for 165.20 million MAD, while no transactions were noted on the block market. Among the most actively traded stocks, T2S Group Holding led the charts with 58.76 million MAD in trades, followed by Jet Contractors at 13.62 million MAD, Itissalat Al-Maghrib at 11.98 million MAD, Managem at 11.50 million MAD, and Attijariwafa Bank at 10.50 million MAD.

In terms of stock performance, the most significant gains were seen in Zellidja, which rose by 5.79% to reach 243 MAD, and M2M Group, which increased by 5.47% to 384 MAD. Other notable gainers included Société des Boissons du Maroc at 3.24% up to 2,168 MAD, AFMA with a 2.36% increase to 1,260 MAD, and Rebab Company at a 2.23% rise to 90.04 MAD.

Conversely, the major losses were observed in Wafa Assurance, which dropped by 2.83% to 5,150 MAD, followed by Bank of Africa down by 2.58% to 185.10 MAD, and Mutandis SCA, which fell by 2.54% to 226.10 MAD. Cash Plus and BMCI also experienced declines of 2.37% and 2.32%, respectively.
