On August 5, 2026, the Casablanca Stock Exchange recorded its fourth consecutive session of gains, with the MASI index climbing by 1.48% to reach 18,329.91 points. Despite the upward trend, trading activity remains moderate, with a total volume of 157 million dirhams transacted on the central market. Managem led the trading volumes, achieving a remarkable 40 million dirhams in transactions. Following a significant gain of 9.92% on the previous day, the company's stock further surged by 9.95%, closing at 1,583 dirhams. Marsa Maroc followed in second place with 20 million dirhams traded and an increase of 1.05%, finishing at 869 dirhams. Itissalat Al-Maghrib rounded out the top three, with 12 million dirhams in transactions and a growth of 1.54%, bringing its stock price to 96.27 dirhams.

In terms of stock performance, SNEP and Fenie Brossette recorded the highest gains of the session, each appreciating by 9.98% to end at 347.55 dirhams and 324.45 dirhams, respectively. SMI also appeared among the top gainers with an increase of 6.88%, closing at 6,787 dirhams. By the end of the trading day, the overall market capitalization reached an impressive 1.073 trillion dirhams, reflecting a robust market sentiment and investor confidence.
