The MASI ESG index also saw a reduction, dropping 0.17% to 1,354.00 points, while the MASI 20 index decreased by 0.11%, reaching 1,320.34 points. Since the beginning of the year, the MASI has experienced a negative performance of 1.74%, and the MASI 20 has contracted by 11.13%. The market capitalization stood at 1,076.42 billion MAD.
The total trading volume for the day reached 216.42 million MAD, with 170.91 million MAD transacted on the central market and 44.58 million MAD on the block market. LafargeHolcim Maroc led the trading activity, with 28.18 million MAD in transactions, followed by Attijariwafa Bank at 22.37 million MAD, Compagnie Minière de Touissit at 15.85 million MAD, Société Métallurgique d’Imiter at 15.83 million MAD, and Managem at 15.18 million MAD.
In terms of stock performance, the largest gains were recorded by Oulmès, which rose by 3.98% to 1,279 MAD, Ennakl, which increased by 3.23% to 54.70 MAD, Eqdom, which climbed by 2.55% to 1,450 MAD, HPS, up by 1.89% to 615 MAD, and Société Marocaine de Monétique, which gained 1.83% to 529 MAD. Conversely, the most significant losses were seen in SMI, which plummeted 5.49% to 8,600 MAD, Compagnie Minière de Touissit, down 4.44% to 4,905 MAD, Med Paper, which fell 3.24% to 24.19 MAD, Cartier Saada, dropping 2.56% to 28.16 MAD, and CMGP Group, down 1.89% to 350 MAD.
