Transforming Digital Access to Financial Markets
The Casablanca Stock Exchange is set to embark on a significant digital transformation with the launch of a new website and mobile application on August 6, 2026. This initiative aims to enhance user access to vital stock market information and services, thereby improving the overall experience for varied stakeholders including investors, issuers, brokerage firms, regulators, media, and partners. The enhancements are designed to create a more user-centric environment, tailored to meet the distinct needs of different participants in the financial ecosystem.
According to the Casablanca Stock Exchange, the development of these new platforms was guided by a user-focused approach. This process incorporated focus groups, co-design workshops, and an analysis of user journeys to better understand the expectations of the various players involved in the stock market ecosystem. One of the most notable upgrades is the customization of navigation, where content and access options will be organized based on user profiles. This strategy aims to facilitate quicker access to the sought-after information, along with a simplified site architecture and a redesigned interface compatible with various devices, including computers, tablets, and smartphones.
A Centralized Access Point for Market Services
The new platform will serve as a centralized access point for all services related to the Casablanca Stock Exchange. Users will have access to information regarding cash and futures markets, stock exchange data, as well as services from the SGMAT and the CCP Morocco Clearing House. Additionally, the mobile application, specifically developed for iOS and Android environments, will enable users to check live quotes, indices, their watchlists, and various market data directly from their smartphones, ensuring a seamless continuity of usage between the new website and mobile app.
Security remains a priority for the Casablanca Stock Exchange, which has integrated security measures from the outset of the platform's design. This includes penetration testing, checks of the IT architecture, and code analysis to ensure a robust security framework. This launch comes at a time when the digitization of financial services is progressively reshaping how users access the markets. Through these new tools, the Casablanca Stock Exchange is committed to providing simpler and unified access to stock market information for all categories of users.
