Modernizing Access to Financial Markets
On August 6, 2026, the Casablanca Stock Exchange launched a revamped website and a new mobile application, marking a significant step towards modernizing access to the financial markets. This digital transformation aims to provide a more intuitive, personalized platform tailored to diverse user profiles, including investors, issuers, market professionals, and regulators. The initiative reflects a user-centered approach, developed through extensive consultations with various stakeholders in the ecosystem. These consultations included focus groups, co-design workshops, and user journey analyses, ensuring that the platform meets the actual needs of its users.
Enhanced User Experience and Security Features
The new platform introduces personalized navigation based on individual user profiles, facilitating easier access to desired information and services. The website's architecture has been simplified to enhance the browsing experience, and the fully responsive design ensures compatibility across computers, tablets, and smartphones. Users will benefit from a multilingual portal available in French, Arabic, and English, featuring visual card presentations that enhance content readability.
Centralizing all markets and services associated with the Casablanca Stock Exchange, the new website allows users to access information related to both spot and futures markets, market data, and services offered by the Securities Management Company (SGMAT) as well as the Clearing House (CCP Morocco) from a single interface. Alongside the website, a new mobile application has been developed natively for both iOS and Android systems, enabling users to view real-time stock prices, indices, watchlists, and key market data. This mobile experience is designed to be consistent with the web version, ensuring a seamless transition between platforms.
Furthermore, the Casablanca Stock Exchange has prioritized cybersecurity throughout the development phase of these digital tools. Intrusion tests, technical architecture verifications, and code analyses have been conducted to bolster data protection and ensure a high level of security for users. This commitment to cybersecurity underscores the importance of safeguarding user information in today's digital landscape.
