Celebrating Academic Excellence at Cadi Ayyad University

Cadi Ayyad University Honors Outstanding Students

The Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, part of Cadi Ayyad University, held a prestigious ceremony in Marrakech on Wednesday to honor its most deserving students for the academic year 2025-2026. This event was graced by the presence of university officials, educators, administrative staff, students, and their families, creating a vibrant atmosphere to recognize the achievements of the brightest students across various academic programs, as well as those actively engaged in extracurricular activities. The ceremony served as a testament to their academic excellence and significant contributions to university life.

In addition to celebrating academic achievements, this gathering provided an opportunity to showcase the key accomplishments and strategic projects undertaken by the faculty during the 2025-2026 academic year, as detailed in its annual activity report. Dean Abdeljalil Lokrifa highlighted that significant advancements were made in the development of the faculty's infrastructure, thanks to the initiation of rehabilitation and expansion projects aimed at enhancing facilities and living spaces for students. These improvements contribute towards creating a more appealing and stimulating academic environment.

Moreover, the faculty strengthened its digital presence throughout the year by implementing a comprehensive communication strategy designed to facilitate information access and enhance the institution's visibility. This initiative included the establishment of a welcoming, orienting, and mediating space for students, utilizing modern digital tools to streamline interactions between administration and students, thereby bringing various services closer to them.

The Dean also emphasized the faculty's commitment to investing in human capital, in line with the Royal High Directions that regard human resources as the true wealth of the Kingdom. This commitment has been reflected in the enhancement of training offerings, the strengthening of undergraduate and master’s programs, and the establishment of logistical conditions necessary for a successful academic year, ensuring that students receive support throughout their academic journey.

Abdeljalil Hanouche, representing the teaching staff, noted that the faculty's successes are the result of collective efforts involving educators, administrative staff, and students. He asserted that the results achieved during the academic year demonstrate the dedicated efforts to improve the quality of education and scientific research while fostering a culture of excellence within the institution.

Distinguished student representative Elkhamsi Elbyar expressed pride in receiving recognition at this ceremony, viewing it as a motivation to continue their hard work and commitment. He highlighted that this recognition reflects the faculty's dedication to valuing academic excellence, promoting participation in university life, and strengthening connections among the various components of the institution.

In a statement to MAP, the President of Cadi Ayyad University, Blaïd Bougadir, indicated that this award ceremony has become an academic tradition that solidifies the culture of merit and competence. It also reflects the dynamic development underway within the university's institutions concerning enhancing educational offerings, improving study conditions, and promoting excellence and innovation.

Held under the theme "Recognizing Skills and Celebrating Creativity," the ceremony featured poetic and musical performances by student clubs, including the Arabic Poetry Club and the Melhoun and Popular Arts Club, alongside a concert performed by the choir "Bahjat Al Arwah." This event aligns with Cadi Ayyad University's ongoing efforts to instill a culture of excellence and merit, encouraging students toward creativity and hard work while enhancing the quality of education and valuing human capital as a crucial lever for the development of higher education and scientific research.
