Olympic Day 2026: Inspiring Youth through Physical Activity
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) celebrated this year’s Olympic Day under the invigorating theme of "Let’s Move," which aims to encourage individuals to engage in physical activities while highlighting the numerous benefits associated with an active lifestyle. The campaign, encapsulated by the motivational message "You Can Do This. Let’s Move," emphasizes the importance of self-confidence, the joy of movement, and the vital connections that sports foster within communities.
In alignment with this global initiative, the Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM), in collaboration with the Regional Academy of Education and Training of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, organized a vibrant Olympic Day event on June 23, 2026, at Houmane El Fatouaki School in Rabat. This significant occasion attracted a multitude of young participants who engaged in various sports and educational activities designed to promote sharing, discovery, and the foundational values of the Olympic spirit. Through such initiatives, the CNOM has reaffirmed its dedication to fostering a culture of sport and encouraging Moroccan youth to embrace physical activity as a pathway to confidence, well-being, and personal growth.
