Closure of the National Summer Camp Program by DGSN
The closing ceremony for the national summer camp program organized by the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) took place on Tuesday evening in Imourane, located north of Agadir. This initiative, launched by the DGSN in collaboration with the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Personnel, was attended by notable figures including the police chief of Agadir, Mustapha Amraden, representatives from the Foundation, as well as families of the participating children.
During the event, Taoufiq Sitri, the director of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Personnel, emphasized the significance of these summer camps, highlighting how they reflect DGSN's commitment to the social welfare of its staff. He noted that the organization of such camps is a testament to the Foundation's dedication to enhancing and diversifying social services for its members.
Furthermore, the DGSN's national summer camp program aims to provide well-suited environments for children, combining leisure activities, learning experiences, and skill development. The event featured artistic performances by the children who benefited from the program, showcasing their talents and creativity.
The 2026 edition of the summer camps organized by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Personnel is set to take place in various locations, including Agadir, Bouznika, Tétouan, and Ifrane. This year, the program is providing opportunities for 3,906 children and orphans of DGSN personnel, catering to age groups between 9 to 14 years and 14 to 16 years.
Through this initiative, the Foundation continues its commitment to social and educational activities aimed at benefiting the national security family, offering young beneficiaries environments that promote personal growth, creativity, cultural openness, and the adoption of values such as solidarity and citizenship.
