Ambassador Yu Jinsong Graces the Mid-Autumn Festival Concert in Rabat
On September 20, 2026, the enchanting concert titled "Together Under the Same Moon" was held at the Villa des Arts in Rabat, organized by the Cultural Center of China. The event was graced by the presence of H.E. Madam Yu Jinsong, the Chinese Ambassador to Morocco, alongside both Chinese and Moroccan guests, as well as over 200 enthusiasts of Chinese culture and music. This concert served as a splendid celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, a significant traditional Chinese holiday.
During her address, Ambassador Yu extended her warmest wishes to all attendees in honor of the Mid-Autumn Festival. She emphasized the cultural significance of this festivity, which symbolizes reunion, reflection on loved ones, and the aspiration for a happy life among the Chinese people. Ambassador Yu expressed her hope that this concert would facilitate the sharing of joy with Moroccan friends and foster connections through the universal language of music, incorporating elements of Chinese culture.
The Sichuan Conservatory of Music's "Doo Jazz Band" captivated the audience with several original jazz pieces that blended Chinese elements with contemporary expression, along with a selection of classic Chinese and Moroccan songs. The rhythm and melodies resonated with the audience, who enthusiastically joined in singing with the musicians. The atmosphere was vibrant and heartfelt, with applause echoing long after the performances concluded.
This concert was also successfully held on September 19 and 21 in Casablanca and Kénitra, respectively, further promoting cultural exchange and appreciation between China and Morocco.
