Central African Republic Expresses Continued Backing for Morocco's Autonomy Proposal

In a recent press statement following discussions with Mr. Nasser Bourita, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Living Abroad, the head of Central African diplomacy reaffirmed the support of the Central African Republic for the autonomy plan presented by the Kingdom of Morocco. This plan is regarded as the only credible and realistic solution for addressing the ongoing regional dispute. Additionally, she celebrated the historic adoption of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2797, which endorses Morocco's autonomy plan introduced in 2007, asserting Moroccan sovereignty as the sole basis for a fair, lasting, and mutually acceptable resolution to the conflict.
