Chichaoua Leads Rainfall Totals in Recent Days
In the past 24 hours, significant rainfall has been observed across various regions, with Chichaoua emerging as the standout area. According to the latest data from the General Directorate of Meteorology, Chichaoua recorded a remarkable 30 millimeters of rain. This places it well ahead of other notable areas such as Marrakech, which received 10 millimeters, and Benguérir, which saw 7 millimeters. Guelmim followed closely with 6 millimeters, demonstrating a significant variation in rainfall distribution across the region.
Moderate rainfall figures were noted in several localities, with Taroudant, Settat, and Agadir-Inezgane each recording 4 millimeters. Meanwhile, Tiznit and Béni Mellal received 3 millimeters. Other regions experienced lighter precipitation, with Taourirt, Tan-Tan, Bouarfa, Essaouira-Port, and Casablanca showing just 2 millimeters. Furthermore, areas such as Nouaceur, Midelt, Khouribga, Agadir-Aït Melloul, Ifrane, Fès-Saïss, and Essaouira-Aéroport recorded minimal amounts of 1 millimeter. In stark contrast, El Jadida, Sidi Slimane, Kénitra, Sidi Ifni, Tit Mellil, Al Hoceima, Salé, and Meknès reported rainfall totals of less than a millimeter, highlighting the uneven nature of the recent weather patterns.
