Successful Conclusion of the Palestinian Startup Incubation Program
The incubation program for Palestinian startups, organized by the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif (BMAQ Innovation Hub), reached its successful conclusion on Sunday in Casablanca. This initiative, focused on the fifth cohort of startups, has been significantly supported by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, as part of the 2026 innovation framework.
During the program, participants engaged in an advanced master class on marketing at the National School of Commerce and Management in Casablanca (ENCGC). This training covered modern trends in brand development and customization, alongside comprehensive consumer behavior analysis and strategic marketing targeting techniques. This session not only enhanced their theoretical knowledge but also provided practical engagement with project-presenting students, fostering an environment for innovative idea exchange among Palestinian entrepreneurs.
Experiential Learning and International Collaboration
The program culminated in a certificate ceremony where participants expressed their admiration for Morocco’s innovative ecosystem. They emphasized the significance of this experience in forging potential future partnerships and drawing inspiration from successful models that could be tailored to the Palestinian context. As part of their learning journey, representatives from six participating Palestinian startups undertook a series of field visits to prominent innovation ecosystems and technology hubs in Morocco, particularly following their attendance at the 4th edition of GITEX Africa 2026 held in Marrakech.
One noteworthy stop was at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Benguerir, where participants explored the 1337 programming school. This institution exemplifies a fusion of scientific research, practical training, and entrepreneurship. The cohort also visited renowned artificial intelligence laboratories, which are recognized as leading research and development centers in Africa. Their program included direct exchanges with engineers and technical experts focused on digital product development, startup growth acceleration, and international market access strategies, culminating in a visit to the Startgate entrepreneurship center.
Notably, the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif’s incubation program, launched as part of its digital strategy for 2024-2027, has already supported 34 startups specializing in various sectors such as artificial intelligence, science, education, healthcare, agriculture, and fintech.
